The Great Gwaelod y Garth Bake Off Returns!
It’s been a good few years since the last one, and we’re delighted to bring back the Bake Off at The Gwaelod y Garth Inn!
Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just love getting creative in the kitchen, we’d love you to take part. Show off your best bakes and compete for the prize everyone wants… the coveted Bake Off apron!
Special category for Under-16s – young bakers are very welcome to join in the fun.
Even if you’re not baking, come along to support the event. All the delicious entries will be sold afterwards to raise money for our chosen charity.

It’s almost festival season! Our first event of 2026 is our annual Beer & Burger Festiv-Ale, on Sunday 24th May.
This one has out-grown our little beer garden (thanks to you lot!) so we’re moving the event to the car park this year. This will prevent ‘spillage’ out onto the road, which has always been a safety concern, and allow cars to pass through the village without obstruction.
Don’t worry neighbours, it’s not going to be on the same scale as Sausage & Cider!!
Seating will be limited, so we suggest you bring along your camping chair (not lounger!) and blanket.
We can’t wait to see you all there!
